3 Weeks Down...

Natalie has been in her cast for 3 weeks and she has come a long way. These pictures are from one week into "confinement" (as Mommy calls it) where she is happily sporting her big blue sock all while scooting and crawling on the floor. As the lady at the church nursery says, "The leg just follows."

We have made it out to preschool, music class and other activities while toting along a wheelchair and Evan. :) As you can see, he is very happy about his newfound independence from Big Sis. He has learned that he can take toys from her and run away with no recourse!! Natalie has also learned the hard way that it is not nice to take away toys from others (even when the teacher is not looking, as Natalie says.)

It is very appropriate that I post these pictures tonight so we can record this memory. Our doctor check-up is tomorrow where she may get the cast off! Yes, these young-uns heal quickly. So, keep your prayers coming that we'll be back to two legs and Mommy will regain her sanity. Ha!

Love,
Kara
