I did ask Evan about his depiction of church. This is what he said...
The really tall guy is Daddy!
Natalie and Mommy are smiling to the right of Daddy
Evan is the little guy to the left of Daddy
The guy with the wings is the "head boy angel"
The person laying on the altar is Jesus (maybe he thought it was a manger?)
God has his back turned looking at Jesus on the altar
I'm not really sure what he thought was happening here but maybe we were present at the birth of Jesus. I feel really honored! It's obvious that Daddy is reeeeeally big in Evan's eyes.
